The MariaDB database server pair that powers 

<kbd>wiki.gentoo.org</kbd>, <kbd>bugs.gentoo.org</kbd> &amp;
<kbd>forums.gentoo.org</kbd> has hit a bug, and isn't behaving cleanly.

The Infra team is working on the issue, with the help of the MySQL project.

#### Update (2017-10-19)

Workarounds have been found for the issue, but a full resolution will be
undertaken with upcoming database moves.
